Eric Haims is a member of the Appraisal Institute with an MAI designation awarded on April 19, 2002. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers with a CCRA designation awarded on September 29, 2008, and an adjunct Lecturer on Real Estate Valuation and Appraisal at Baruch College CUNY. He is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (Appraiser “A”).

Mr. Haims has over 20 years of commercial real estate appraisal and consulting experience, having appraised hundreds of commercial properties located in the Metropolitan New York area and across the country, including California, Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia, Massachusetts and Georgia. Mr. Haims’s primary market area is the five boroughs of New York City. His secondary market area is the surrounding Counties of Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk, as well as Southern Connecticut, eastern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He focuses on Valuation, Litigation and Support, Expert Witness Testimony, Appraisal Review, Historic Preservation Easements, Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Estate Tax and Planning, Tax Appeal, Consulting, Land Valuation and the Valuation of TDRs.

Additionally, Mr. Haims specializes in the appraisal of commercial properties for both litigation and condemnation purposes pursuant to eminent domain, including assisting in the preparation of expert witness testimony for both direct and cross examination and the writing of rebuttal reports.
